Winter Exhibition Opening

SAM CARTMAN Castrocielo oil on board

Our Winter Exhibition Opens this Saturday, the 23rd of November. We are busy getting everything ready and admiring all the fabulous work that has come into the gallery. It really is exciting.

Please join us for a glass of mulled wine between 11am and 1pm and view the new show. A lot of the work is available to view on our web site here. I will be adding more images over the next few days.

We are delighted that artist John Threlfall will be joining us in the gallery to sign copies of his beautiful new book Drawn to the Edge.

Sky Arts Portrait Artist Of The Year

The Sky Arts Portrait Artist of The Year starts of Tuesday night at 8pm.

We are really looking forward to it as one of the participants in none other than Ewan McClure. I know Ewan has really enjoyed the whole process and we don't know what the final outcome is!

There are six episodes set in London, Glasgow, Dublin, Cardiff and Paris, with the final episode at the National Portrait Gallery in London. The winner will paint Hilary Mantel and the portrait will hang in The British Library.
