Valentine Window

Hearts Glass Panel with copper hanging by Nerjit Dhol 30.5 x 45 cm

In our Valentine window display from left to right: Hilke MacIntyre's ceramic relief 'Arranging flowers', Aliisa Hyslop's painting 'Tree of Hearts', Anita Klein's drypoint etching 'Breakfast at The Barbican', Paul Young's slipware 'Birds In Tree' candle stick and Aliisa Hyslop's painting 'Dancing On Ice', plus cards by Aliisa Hyslop and Richard W. Boardman.

Castle Douglas has been busy this week with lots of people on Half Term. It's been lovely to see new people finding the gallery and enjoying the fantastic art that we have on show.

The invitations for our Flights of Fancy exhibition in March will be back from the printer next week so we are getting ready for what is going to be a fascinating exhibition of Bird Art and other creatures of flight! I can't wait to get all the work together in the gallery. The contrasting styles, subjects and mediums are going to make hanging the exhibition really enjoyable.
